Yall should of heard the difference when I turned the volume up past Lance's setting. It was a huge difference, but Lance about whooped my ass for turning it up where it is clipping.

I still think Lance needs to tweak a few things, and it will be even louder. That will happen next week.

Also we are planning something kinda cool for my youtube channel. Should be VERY interesting.

That's an interesting question. Obviously with more power they get MUCH louder, but I gotta say overall I like them better than the xcon. They have a wicked punch to them on metal and even with my conservative SSF settings, they will slam on the lows. I have played around with them with a much lower SSF setting and they get NASTY. I was told today that I am too conservative, but I prefer to be safe than sorry. Hopefully redneck can chime in as we had this conversation today about how solid pole subs seem to have more authority on bass punch. The zcons are tight as hell! They sound really damn good and only got warm after banging the shit out of them for about an hour today. Well built moofers as were the xcons.

That video was enough of a demo for me I wish i could get a demo and you could see my reaction to the bass =D

I want to hear it at volume 33 instead of your whack 27.

If it gains like it did from 27-30, it will be effing loud. Lol. Come on, 5 seconds won't hurt anything!!!!!

I honestly think 30 seconds would be just fine, once you get your alts, voltage gets a little low.

On the subject on Xcon comparison, now I wished I had more listening time with the X's. Only way I can hear differences is in the drivers seat and in control of the volume knob. Don't ask why.

My voltage drops like a brick when I turn it up past where it was, but it does surprisingly well up to that point. I think the other batteries and alts will really make this a beast. These amps do not like low voltage at all and will protect in a hurry, but on the flip side they are unregulated so the better my voltage the better the carnage. lol

Yummy. In terms of sound between his prior drivers and his current drivers, that has a great deal to do with the design and cooling. The Zcon's are meant for greater pressure and presence, and the Xcon's are meant for more blending and clarity.
