Grasshopper's Hoe

Recommended Posts

Worked out well placing the amp and subs like that. Did you ever think to have the port fire above the amp?

Why yes, yes I did...but 36" of port is a lot of length to work with. Could have made it work but took the lazy route. :peepwall:

:turkey: I won't tell anyone.

OK, just don't high-light it in red were everybody will notice.

Fits like a glove :slayer:

I like the idea of using wire loom as a grommet :foshizzle:

This build is coming together very nice. A good example of a nice sounding daily setup.

We sanded the edges after cutting the holes, but needed something to give it a cleaner look plus the protection factor for the wiring.

Yes, coming along, hoping for that enjoyable daily sound!

This was the next little mod. Grasshoppa wanted the bass knob to be stealth and we were adding a usb to the dash, so we worked them into power-port section and the ash-tray.

Unit removed...

img4329w.jpg

Port about to be transformed.

img4330pb.jpg

Now his wife will have power, usb and lighter.

img4331p.jpg

Next is the bass knob... With a little trimming it will fit in the ashtray.

Here are the results.

Nice and clean.

Looks great

Is this playing yet? Thoughts/

Thanks!!

Gave it just a little listen last night with a few quick adjustments. Need to go through and fine tune.

Liking the sound of the DCONS, wanted to play a little louder but it was about midnight.
