Congrats lee!

That's badass period. Much less that score with the power you are running. I really want a demo again. That loud that low is just my style.

That's awesome man. It's only gonna get louder. I wouldn't even add the 2nd amp. Although.... If you added 2 more!

Vids coming in about 15mins, a new build brings new excitement. I did smoke one FT1 today, lol. I thought I smelled subs an turned it down and subs were still cold, found out it was a tweeter...lmao. Oh we'll, this front stage has been struggling to keep up. Time to order shit.....

How did you smoke the tweeter, how much power is it receiving?

Any plans on the new front stage yet?

They are rated at 80rms and I am running 150rms to them, shit happens...lol.

I will order 4 of the 8 ohm versions anyway now.

Good job again but now it makes me wonder how loud mine is at 30 Hz. It will still dig down low even peaking at 50hz.

I bet its louder than you realize. I didnt know I would do a 51 at 27hz.......... a 53.2 at 30hz made me smile.:)

Well now you will have to wait till the new mystery subs are installed.

well a lot of guys trash talk because I'm tuned to 40hz. My new subs have a little higher fs so my peak may change a hair too.

Very accurate...... from everything I have researched. I will find out November 18th when the first Meca meet is. I will bring my meter and compare it that same day.

Here is a thread on **** asking the same.... I am really impressed with it. A great testing device for sure. For the money you cant go wrong. And Shizzon has excellent CS.

What iswas your front stage and what was it's power?

I got 2 FT1s going to be ran on a 150x2 as well but 101% clip-free because any type of tweeter like this is insanely loud already and i do not think CA makes recone kits for these tweeters...

I havent asked yet but MTX makes some and they offer recone kits for like $9, lmao.. But hey, it would come in handy with all that steel base they are made out of.

I will admit that I blew it during that video of the 156.7 on music. That song is loud and I tuned my setup at volume 55. I went volume 58 and probably clipped it some and just smoked it. The other one is fine.

I will be redoing the front now and will be running 2 Ft1's, 2 6.5's and 1 8in in each door.

Picked up my 2nd 5500 todayready2go.gif I have a extra 50ft of 2/0 ready to go. Now I need to think of how many batteries I need.

I dont know whether to buy the Die Hard Plats like Mr Mead or get XP3000's. I will need to put them in my tool box in the back. I may need to move the other 3400's back there too. I hate to have batteries under hood, under false floor and in rear tool box. May need to go ahead and pull it all back out and rewire completely. hmmmm

How many batteries should I run for 12k. I currently have 4 D3400's. I thought I would start with 3 group 31's and go from there. I need a deal so if anyone has any thoughts?

This is what i'd do-

Don't buy any batteries right now.

Install the 2nd amp and see how your voltage is.

If your voltage dips below 13.6v, then you are clearly beyond your alternators ability so that would be a given.

So, the next thing would be how much lower are you wanting to go from there?

I'd purchase more D3400s but only if you need to.

I can get into 12's right now if pushing hard enough, It wasnt so bad at 1ohm but now its at a .5. When I add the second amp both will be at .5. I bet its gonna draw like a mofo

How is your impedance not going to change? Also how are you getting .5 with 3 subs?

Normally with dual 1's they would read .67 or 1.5 which ever way I wire. But since these are .7's they are giving me a final reading of .5. So I will assume that when I wire the subs to what would normally be 1.5 fthat it will actually read 1ohm giving me a .5ohm load on each amp when strapped.

Correct?

You special ordered D.7 coils? Or do you just mean that the D1 reads ~.7?

      1. Product: 2 Fi SP4 18s with Carbon Fiber Dust Caps
      2. Specs: Both are dual 1 ohm (0.7 ohm)
      3. Description/Condition: Ran them for a little under a year on low power (Audioque 2200). Magnets have some scratches but the surrounds, baskets, spiders, and coils are in excellent condition. Does not include the original gaskets. A couple of the pictures are next to a 10" Kicker "Competition" (lol) for size comparison.
I threw out the original boxes some time ago, but Fi was nice enough to send me two brand new boxes to ship them in. So these will ship in original Fi packaging.
      7/10 Cosmetically
      10/10 Mechanically
      4. Price: Asking $900 SHIPPED OBO for the pair. Because they are dual 1 ohm, I would like to keep them as a pair. NO TRADES, just trying to get rid of all my stuff.
I'm located in Huntsville, AL 35810. Would be willing to drive to meet someone within reason.
      5. Pictures:

This sub has been nothing but great to me. Can't say enough about it. Sadly I have just sold my amp and made a bunch of space in my trunk for a lot more business. ( (2) 12"s )
This 12" can do it all..handled my MMATS m3000.1 with ease, hit the lows, and was great for a daily woofer.
Has always been on a good supporting electrical cast. I am pulling the sub tomorrow because I'll be pulling my amp as well. Can take more pictures for people with more interest then.
Recone has a date of 9/xx/14 and actually didn't use it for about 4 weeks it was installed because I had to wait on a warranty claim on a battery.
There is a bit of a glue splotch on the top plate, but no biggie, just CA. bottom of motor looks mint.
Minimal chips in ferrite. Included is the motor boot and 12" gasket.
