Recommended Posts

I think Senchez has a man crush on you Lee ;)/> I'm hoping for something of a similar type of sound myself. I know I will not able to hit your #'s though!

Hopfully I can get a demo at some point this year.

Great job bro!

No he probably just wants me to start on his new enclosure.. Haha

Yeah I will get it up there at some point, it's 8 decibels louder than the last demo you had. :) fun shit

I got a chance to get a demo of this and all i can say is screw you swift and sencheezy. I knew I shoulda done my demo first! Now am all sad and shit cause I have no subs lol.

For those interested I sat in swifts ride and got me a demo only to go back to my lowly Suburban and hammer my volume knob til I blew all 3 of my 18" Obsidians.

This just gave me incentive to get louder though! I really like this install and it has just made me happy to know that hitting low and loud is still a possibility. Thanks bro!

P.S. Still want the 2/0.... just not as soon haha

That sucks about your subs. I take it all 3 are blown? Again, thats sucks. But look at it this way, you will come back louder!

Yah all 3. I took the other two out and put them on the meter and they show open as well. Was definitely a sight though . I feel ALOT better blowing these than the 6 Rockford Fosgate HX2 15"s I had. No where near as much money in these subs lol

Thanks,

Yeah it will be loud as hell no doubt and I think he did great on them. I did not want the mids and tweeters firing into the side of my seats very low like some you see. These should keep them visible without too much blocking them. But I am hoping to switch between running the horns and supertweeters. Horns daily and everything at Comps. We will see. I'm curious how heavy they will be

Got the doors back, They look great!

here is a mock up, I will be ordering black FT1's for the doors and 4 more mids. But you get the idea

Here they are installed. Since I only had two 8's here at the house I went ahead and added the Rockford Proaudio 6.5's just for temporary and for the show tomorrow. had to make adapter plates and also cover plates for the open holes. Covered them in some left over vinyl so it didnt look too shitty. Doors are loud and the Crescendo put out alittle more midbass than I expected. I'm sure with 3 per door I will be content. I stuffed the doors full with foam that I had laying around.

      1. Product: 2 Fi SP4 18s with Carbon Fiber Dust Caps
      2. Specs: Both are dual 1 ohm (0.7 ohm)
      3. Description/Condition: Ran them for a little under a year on low power (Audioque 2200). Magnets have some scratches but the surrounds, baskets, spiders, and coils are in excellent condition. Does not include the original gaskets. A couple of the pictures are next to a 10" Kicker "Competition" (lol) for size comparison.
I threw out the original boxes some time ago, but Fi was nice enough to send me two brand new boxes to ship them in. So these will ship in original Fi packaging.
      7/10 Cosmetically
      10/10 Mechanically
      4. Price: Asking $900 SHIPPED OBO for the pair. Because they are dual 1 ohm, I would like to keep them as a pair. NO TRADES, just trying to get rid of all my stuff.
I'm located in Huntsville, AL 35810. Would be willing to drive to meet someone within reason.
      5. Pictures:

This sub has been nothing but great to me. Can't say enough about it. Sadly I have just sold my amp and made a bunch of space in my trunk for a lot more business. ( (2) 12"s )
This 12" can do it all..handled my MMATS m3000.1 with ease, hit the lows, and was great for a daily woofer.
Has always been on a good supporting electrical cast. I am pulling the sub tomorrow because I'll be pulling my amp as well. Can take more pictures for people with more interest then.
Recone has a date of 9/xx/14 and actually didn't use it for about 4 weeks it was installed because I had to wait on a warranty claim on a battery.
There is a bit of a glue splotch on the top plate, but no biggie, just CA. bottom of motor looks mint.
Minimal chips in ferrite. Included is the motor boot and 12" gasket.
      Price:
      275$ plus shipping
