*Swift's Rebuild* 3 SP4 18's, 12k Walled F250

Nice score man, glad you like those horns. How many watts are you sending those horns?

Well I only have one laying in the floor just to have sound until they are all mounted up but its getting 75rms. I can tell with both of them at that power I will need maybe four 8's to keep up with them. They scream and sound incredible. Really wish I had listened sooner. Not sure why more people dont run them. Well they are expensive as FK. haha

You feel like a wall tuned at 31hz should be hitting 60's? Damn, I am happy that its doing what its doing. I bet it could pull a 59 the way it sits (on music). Justins SSA Blazer may have hit a 60 on burp with 4 18's. Lenny's Tahoe with 6 SMD 18's in a low tuned wall like mine running 3 DC 9K's hit a 160.9 on burp. I never really chased a number, If I was more concerned about numbers then how it actually sounds then I would have tuned it to maybe 35-38hz.

I agree a 60 would be nice but I doubt it will happen in my truck and dont care really. This will play music in the 55's like a champ and sound very clean doing it. That in it self wasnt easy.

That's a bold statement. Considering his power, tuning, and cone area I am super impressed with his score.

I'm not saying it is, but before seeing his score I would not have expected it to be that high. BUT gaining 2 db when you are that high isn't easy, I do agree that it is within reach though.

Congrats Lee!

Too bad about the 1100. I would have thought you just got the rca cables mixed up or something. I'm sure they will get it fixed up for you.

Peak and 30 second average are completely different. You are just essentially "burping" on music.

Not really sure what your wanting to hear but it really doesnt matter much. You can replace my "music" wording with "burp, peak, outlaw with a gust of wind" if that makes you feel better. You saw the video, make of it as you wish.

I can still 30 sec a 55+ on the dash playing music 10hz lower than your burp scores. Is that better?

pretty soon it's gonna be who can go deaf the quickest..... and at what frequency, lol.

I think i'm just gonna tear my build out and sell it all and just move down to TN and camp out in Lee's vehicle when he's not using it.

I know, right..... LOL

Thanks Steve!!!

Its all good, I just wanted something loud that sounds good and I'm happy with it. I only posted numbers because I know some people want to see them. No big deal, maybe one day I'll build more of a SPL type vehicle but for know I want to just get the mids and highs straightened out.

Woah now don't get so butthurt, I wasn't saying they where bad.. they were lacking information.

You're .3 tenths louder than me in the kick off of 5k more watts. with my 2 18's I could average a 56+ on 6k sb style.. So talk shit.. I guess.

I honestly am not butt hurt at all, you just seem to be looking for that kind of response. I thought my video showing it on peak hold, playing a song, and saying that it was in the kick was plenty of info. lol

I dont remember picking apart your burp scores or any other scores for that matter. Hell I even post at what hz I do my numbers at.

Anyway, its still sunny in my back yard, no harm here!

I was just like to say, after I received my first demo of the bigger and better install, holy shit. I really love it. I have been in some pretty loud installs, but what really sets this one apart, is it playability. For the most part, from my experience, a lot of the big number installs out there are really only efficient around their goals. But here, it just really sounds so clean and so powerful. People really just need a demo to understand what I'm trying to say haha. The bass notes just felt natural, with no distress whats so ever. I could really listen to that every day. Also, with such a great install, has its benefits. I mean, it can play the 52s-54s effortless, I mean, above 14 volts and no kind of subwoofer issues, for any period of time. And just at a moment notice, can sit your ass holding on to the seatbelt with no warning.

Like I said before swift, 2 db's may not seem a lot, but holy shit, 2 db's at that high of a level really makes a worlds difference. Keep it up, I can't wait to see whats next!

I think Senchez has a man crush on you Lee ;) I'm hoping for something of a similar type of sound myself. I know I will not able to hit your #'s though!

Hopfully I can get a demo at some point this year.

Great job bro!

      1. Product: 2 Fi SP4 18s with Carbon Fiber Dust Caps
      2. Specs: Both are dual 1 ohm (0.7 ohm)
      3. Description/Condition: Ran them for a little under a year on low power (Audioque 2200). Magnets have some scratches but the surrounds, baskets, spiders, and coils are in excellent condition. Does not include the original gaskets. A couple of the pictures are next to a 10" Kicker "Competition" (lol) for size comparison.
I threw out the original boxes some time ago, but Fi was nice enough to send me two brand new boxes to ship them in. So these will ship in original Fi packaging.
      7/10 Cosmetically
      10/10 Mechanically
      4. Price: Asking $900 SHIPPED OBO for the pair. Because they are dual 1 ohm, I would like to keep them as a pair. NO TRADES, just trying to get rid of all my stuff.
I'm located in Huntsville, AL 35810. Would be willing to drive to meet someone within reason.

This sub has been nothing but great to me. Can't say enough about it. Sadly I have just sold my amp and made a bunch of space in my trunk for a lot more business. ( (2) 12"s )
This 12" can do it all..handled my MMATS m3000.1 with ease, hit the lows, and was great for a daily woofer.
Has always been on a good supporting electrical cast. I am pulling the sub tomorrow because I'll be pulling my amp as well. Can take more pictures for people with more interest then.
Recone has a date of 9/xx/14 and actually didn't use it for about 4 weeks it was installed because I had to wait on a warranty claim on a battery.
There is a bit of a glue splotch on the top plate, but no biggie, just CA. bottom of motor looks mint.
Minimal chips in ferrite. Included is the motor boot and 12" gasket.

      275$ plus shipping
