You're going to want something forced air, so it's going to be noisy.  No way around that in a portable unit.  

 

I use a Mr. heater unit at my parent's house and it works great.  It was only $75 too!

I need to make my garage awesome (also known as workable).

I just want to be able to park my wife's car in the garage (which I can do), have a work bench and some storage.Right now I have to get our old table and my work out equipment out. Moving into the new, smaller house has made space a premium.

I also have a shed I need to put storage shelves into.

I needed something to put off lots of heat, I love this radiant heat. I was very happy using about 6 gallons of fuel over 2 days. outside temp was 22-25 inside 62. 

Once a garage door opens I need quick recovery.

I got my father in law one of these. on sale at Lowe's for 199.99 

It does very well for his needs, but his garage is small. 24x24 I believe.

They are currently not really known on the east coast as they are on the west. A local oil company uses one larger than mine to heat their truck garage and that is what sold me on spending the money. There are several knock off's that cost a little less.

I actually moved from the Coffeyville/Independence area to San Antonio almost 4 months ago. Finally got closer to family
