It would be used to describe something with great value, but something worth so much that monetary value cannot be assigned. A good example would be the Mona Lisa.

 

The word is not: sentimental, irreplaceable, invaluable, priceless.

I wouldn't call it "worthless," but it's the closest word reminding me of it.
