Grasshopper ran across a deal on some 22's so the Tahoe is rolling on some new wheels. Still waiting on a few things to come together on getting this build underway...

Got home from work today and Grasshopper had been at it. He got the dash all trimed out for the HU mounting plate. He still has to modify the face of the dash for the change of the location for the AC controls but it is looking good.

^^^ what he said. honestly, i can't see the big picture with the dash on so i don't want to say i love the bracket without seeing it done.... nothing wrong with it at all. you're "simple" installs are always impressive

Exactly!! What do you with a din and a half?? Single din looks funny and a double din won't fit!

Have to agree, don't know how the dash face is going to turn out yet. I will say that the steel bracket for mounting the HU is nice and sturdy compared to the plastic type.

lookin good, i have the same body style tahoe. tuned in to see how that double din hu looks in the dash , i was told it wouldnt work, but i see differently now not to mention whatever else you do with this thing. Everything ive seen you build so far as been awesome, im sure this will be no different. Post lots of pictures!
