Well today my oldest turned 19 and he still lives at home, but is going to LHU so I can't complain.

 

Did the same when I was in college, saved a ton of money. Still living at home at 23 just graduated from bloomsburg in december... so maybe i'll move out soon haha

 

Nothing wrong with that, I am paying each semister for him as long as his grades are up to par.

Anyone ever make a yagi antenna? I'm looking into building one for 2.4ghz (wifi). Found a few sites with calculators for determining elements' lengths and spacing, but don't know enough to tell which (if any) are good. Also need to make a balun.

Should be fairly easy J.

Only one major 'bitch' about it, and that was the filter housing. Over torqued back on last time, and the tool to remove it didn't quite fit right. Considering its made of plastic, I may by the upgraded Toyota made aluminum one with removal tool designed for it. It would truly make my life easier in the future. Add in that the damn thing took 8 quarts of oil and the shit gets more expensive real quick.

The transfer case fluid change wasn't even listed in the book, just check the level.

I've jerry rigged my intercooler monitor absolutely horrible

I really need to take pics. Cat5e cable going from under the hood, through the door with the sensor info and the microcontroller + lcd are stuffed inside an old DMM case, so that I have battery power. I didn't have time to buy parts for a voltage regulator and this thing doesn't work on 14.4v.

And I finally am 90% sure the laziness of the SPL meter to get a result in some cases is caused by some sort of funky interference with my jerry-rigged wiring.

Next major plan with the SPL meter is to build a prototype board with solid, good wiring, so I can eliminate all possible exterior interferences.

My roommate has. He used one to send data to a balloon over a 15 mile span using 900mhz

I only paid $300 for the chasserals, LBS has them at $1150.
